South TX “Weekend of Champions” @ Camp Zephyr on Lake Corpus Christi April 24-26, 2015 3 CSMA volunteers needed. FCA is expecting 350-500 student athletes in attendance. The weekend is a 3 day/ 2 night camp for Jr. High & High School students, co-ed. FCA requests at volunteer to be a Camp Zephyr by 4:00 pm on Friday, April 24 to help with the medical part of registration. Volunteers will be responsible for medical coverage of the camp and will need to bring their own kit and supplies. FCA will reimburse volunteers for travel and meals to and from camp along with providing room and meals during the camp. “Leadership Camp” @ Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, TX June 8-12, 2015 1 male & 1 female CSMA volunteer needed. FCA is expecting 500-600 athletes for this camp. It is a 5 day/ 4 night camp for Jr. High and High School students, co-ed. Volunteer check-in will be on Sunday afternoon, June 8, at 4:00 pm. Volunteers will be responsible for medical coverage of the camp and will need to bring their own kit and supplies. FCA will reimburse volunteers for travel and meals to and from camp along with providing room and meals during the camp. DFW “Leadership Camp” @ Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, TX June 23-26, 2015 2 CSMA volunteers needed. Volunteers will only be needed during the mornings of June 23, 24, 25. Volunteers will be responsible for medical coverage of the camp and will need to bring their own kit and supplies. FCA will provide a stipend of $100 per CSMA volunteer. South TX “FCA 7-on-7 Tournament” @ Texas A&M Kingsville in Kingsville, TX June 25, 2015 8 CSMA volunteers needed. This is a one day event… no overnight… registration opens at 7:00 am, tournament is over by 4:00 pm. There will be 4 tournament areas with 2 fields per area in need of coverage. FCA is expecting 250-350 student athletes for this tournament. Volunteers will be responsible for medical coverage of the tournament and will need to bring their own kit and supplies. FCA will reimburse volunteers for travel and meals to and from the tournament. “Sports Camp” @ TX Tech in Lubbock, TX June 28-July 2 4 CSMA volunteers needed. The volunteer’s primary function during the days of camp will be to be at the athletic venues to assist with the athletes taping and any injuries. FCA asks the CSMA volunteers to also dispense any meds the kids bring to camp with them. One volunteer will be asked to be on call during the evenings should a camper become ill or need follow up from an injury suffered during the day. The CSMA volunteer will need to bring their own kit and supplies to camp with them. FCA will provide room and meals for the duration of the camp along with gas reimbursement of travel to and from camp. Volunteers will need to arrive at camp by 1 pm on June 28. “Sports Camp” @ TX A&M in College Station, TX July 1-5 4 CSMA volunteers needed. The primary role of CSMA volunteers will be to provide medical coverage for athletes at the various athletic venues. One volunteer will be asked to dispense medication. CSMA requests that volunteers bring their own medical kit and supplies to camp with them. FCA will provide room and board for the duration of camp. If receipts can be furnished, travel expenses will be reimbursed. Volunteers will be asked to arrive at camp in College Station July 1st. “Football Team Camp” @ University of West Georgia in Carrollton, GA July 15-17 & July 20-22 6 CSMA volunteers needed. This camp is one of the nation’s largest FCA camps. The CSMA volunteer’s primary function during the days of camp will be to be at the athletic venues to assist with the athletes taping and any injuries. Volunteer will need to bring their own kit and supplies to camp with them. The camp is divided into two sessions. Session 1 (July 15-17) & Session 2 (July 20-22). Volunteers will need to be available for both sessions. FCA will provide each volunteer a stipend of $300 per session for a total of $600. There is a day off between sessions. FCA will work with the UWG Housing Department for any volunteers who wish to stay on campus between sessions.
